KATARZYNA EKIERT obtained a MA in Sociology from Warsaw University and completed a post-graduate course in European Studies at the National School of Public Administration, Warsaw. Katarzyna has experience in commissioning and managing social research projects (evaluations and public opinion surveys) for the Polish public administration, including The Chancellery of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Before joining CRG she specialised in policy analyses regarding social communication and information policy around EU matters. In CRG, she has been involved in a number of research projects, most recently in an Evaluation of Developing Research Skills Project for the University of Bangor and an Evaluation of ITQ and e-skills Passport pilot, both on the fieldwork and report writing stage. An experienced interviewer in market as well as policy research, she has also completed a range of desk research, usually with wider EU policy scope. She is currently working towards MRes in European Social Policy at the University of Bath. A fluent Polish speaker, she is also a Board Member of the Polish Evaluation Society and a member of UK Evaluation Society. |   |

THOMAS HOLT graduated from Durham University with a joint honours degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, and has 4 years experience at CRG as a Research Analyst, having previously worked at the national office of the Learning and Skills Council. His responsibilities at the LSC and CRG have included project management and method design for the large-scale worked based learning follow up survey. He has worked extensively on the Mid-term Evaluations and more recently the evaluation updates of the European Structural Funds programmes in Wales. Other recent assignments include research into a Consultant Bursar Programme for the National College for School Leadership, the evaluation of the Farming Connect Programme for the National Assembly for Wales, and a cost analysis in relation to the work of the Independent Police Complaints Commission. He has carried out a number of desk-based research assignments as part of wider evaluations, building up a good understanding of Government policy in Wales and the UK, particularly in education, employment and related fields. He has substantial experience and expertise in qualitative and quantitative data collection and handling techniques, and is highly proficient in statistical methods and IT. |

Juliet, our Office Manager/Administrator is a graduate of History and Welsh from Aberystwyth University. She also holds a Post-graduate Certificate of Education and RSA Diploma for Personal Assistants. She has worked mostly as a PA in industry at Chairman/Chief Executive level and has considerable experience in office administration. |   |
